John Tagley takes a Cholo styled 2002 Road King with an old twin cam 88ci and works side by side with Prestige Custom Cycles and their master tech "Panhead Andy" to design and build a 131 Twin Cam engine from the pre-existing H.D. case. The goal in mind was "as big as possible" combined with power-preserving mods to minimize parasitic losses to maximize performance on an unlikely chassis setup, thus creating what is now known as the "Performance Cholo", an entirely new concept of bike class.
With plenty of power now on tap, it was time to take it a step further and lighten the bike without compromising the Cholo look which proved to be a challenging task. The result is a machine that knows very few limitations in any aspect of the Harley Davidson world of bikes and will prove itself time and time again against much newer performance oriented bikes that compromised their looks for performance. All while retaining its "bike show worthy" aesthetic Cholo looks, and without falling victim to the dreaded stigma of "garage queen"
