Soca is a musical genre originating in Trinidad and Tobago and popular in Caribbean countries such as Venezuela, specifically in the Northeastern Region (GΓΌiria) and the Guayana Region, after the arrival of Trinidadian emigrants to Venezuela, derived from calypso, which comes from turn from the kaiso, and quite close.
