Is there a best time to max out your Roth IRA? Should you take advantage of dollar cost averaging and spread out your investments over the course of the year, should you invest right away at the start of the year...or should you simply max out your fund right as the year is about to close.

After all, does it really matter when you max if out, as long as you max it out? Well, studies from Fidelity suggest that there is indeed a best time to max out your Roth IRA. (Of course, we want to note that it is important that you are keeping your Roth in low cost index funds - which are predominately found in the Fidelity IRA or the Vanguard IRA...because after all, low cost index funds really do make a difference on your returns!)

I'm not tryin to suggest that you time the market, timing the market rarely works out in your favor. The stock market is unpredictable at best. But what matters most is your time in the market. The longer your money is invested, the better opportunity compound interest has to work its magic and grow your money.

So there is a way you can invest in your Vanguard IRA or your Fidelity IRA that will stack the deck in your favor, so you capture the years greatest growth and ultimately retire with more money!
