Here’s my sound proofing and treatment for our 2 Hondas. DIY audio work:
Over 100hours of applying Killmat/ Noico/ Smartmat/ Amazon Basics Sound deadener… it was worth it!
Certainly helped with the road noise and giving a decent environment for the speaker system to reverberate…

Also, upgraded CR-V speakers to Alpine Type-S s65 speakers and Kicker/RF amp subwoofer.
Civic: upgraded to Infinity Kappa 6.5” woofer and 4.0” woofer-coax speakers- both at 2.5-3ohms to match the Bose low impedance speakers… and RF 10”/RF amp sub combo.
