What travel means to me:
It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to travel. As an aspiring photographer and filmmaker, travelling is an important aspect of my creative process. While I feel really blessed to live in a beautiful country like Singapore, there is a special excitement in documenting a journey in a foreign land far from home.

To me, travel is more than just enjoying the experience of living in another country. Ever since I started my journey as a creative, my travels served as key checkpoints with which I could easily track my progress throughout the years. As I looked through each image set or video from every country I have visited in the past, I was able to observe how my style and creative direction have changed and developed over the years.

This video is a short compilation of my past travels to Taiwan, Bali and New Zealand. It has been awhile since I’ve filmed a travel video or taken photos in another country - so when I next get to travel, I’m excited to see how much I’ve progressed in my skills. Having a drone with me on my next trip will add an additional layer of creativity for me to work with, and open a plethora of novel possibilities for new things I’ll be able to create.
