Anna Ehrgott is a natural-born adventurer. A surfer since childhood, she travels the world surfing remote waves and enjoying the outdoors.
When she’s not off on an adventure, Anna balances her life by running Sage Brush Bags, a brand of Earth-conscious surfboard bags handmade in Southern California that she founded in 2013. Whether she’s off searching for undiscovered surf spots in Iceland or helping to clean up the environment one surf bag at a time, Blundstone boots go everywhere Anna’s life takes her.
Surfing has shaped Anna’s life for more than 20 and so has the freedom and travel that goes along with chasing the waves. Her love of the natural world led her to take a conscious route in developing her brand and keeping the earth as the utmost priority. It resulted in Anna working with the remnant, leftover fabric from larger brands that would have otherwise ended up in landfill.

As a free surfer, Anna has to take every day as it comes and move with the natural ebb and flow of the ocean, this has led to embracing the adventure of finding new challenges and working on different projects. Sage Brush Bags began as one such project after adding a new surfboard to her quiver but finding herself without a board bag. With some basic sewing skills and a can-do attitude, the journey began.
