Name a more iconic riding spot in the UK? Ok maybe Shipley Glen is up there but for decades this small seaside town in south Wales was the Trials riders Mecca, made famous by being the home and training ground of legends Martyn Ashton and Martin Hawyes...Porthcawl is a legendary riding spot!

I last came here in 2011 on my first production Inspired hex, I can't believe it's taken me 10 years to come back!

Porthcawl has some of the most tech riding going, the rocks are sharp, rough, uneven and unforgiving and it's not an easy place to ride but that's what makes it good and how Martyn and Martin became such great riders.

I met up with local riders John Shrewsbury and James Parr and tackled the rocks the best I could!
