This my Frankenstein Monster. Years ago, I couldn't afford a NAS, and I had a stack 500 GB, 1TB, and 2TB drives. So I found that rack in Microcenter. I found the IDE/SATA/Mirco SATA to USB with a Power In from Bytecc, that works sort of. I could only run 3 drives, because the 250 Watt power supply, the forth drive would give the click of death, at the time I didn't understand was it was underpower. This was use for a while as a home made storage for my Plex server.

I just watch another creator do a video, where he build what I had done, but with like SAS Card, Power Supply, and a very nice tower for his drives.

The monster was been sitting collecting dust, so now that I see what I can do. I will be honest, I didn't know what those cards were I had a couple, I thought they were weird because there was no internal SAS Connector.

I am super excite, I can't want to say again, it's alive.
