When you park your airplane outside, you need to have gust locks on your delicate control surfaces, to prevent them from being damaged by winds blowing them repeatedly. This is a short video where I build a set of gust locks for my airplane, and show you how it's done, and how they are used.

Parts I used:

Aluminum sheet: https://amzn.to/3xXa5Y6
Stainless key rings: https://amzn.to/4a5X38f
Remove Before Flight tags: https://amzn.to/4bpwnQZ
5/16" tubing: https://amzn.to/4aXP12r
