The invited speaker at the January 30, 2024 meeting of the Old Guard of Summit NJ was Charles Clarkson, an attorney, who is a project director for the NJ SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol) under the auspices of Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County.

Medicare -- a program for seniors -- expends many billions of dollars and must deal with the hazards of fraud. The Senior Medicare Patrol of New Jersey is a federally funded program of the US Administration for Community Living. There is an SMP in each state. He explained how to detect and how to report Medicare fraud and related healthcare scams.
