I usually wait a few weeks before I post this on the class Blackboard site. I am always delightedly surprised when the students attempt to greet me with the entire Dan-the-Man title. But most settle for, "Your Royal Highness" or "Your Majesty."
(I do not give extra credit for their attempt but I do look upon each particular student with affection.)
