I was in the middle of getting ready to have to go into work to cover the significant severe weather we had on this hot and very humid day last year.

Not gonna lie, but I had a bad gut feeling about this setup a full two days beforehand. Something seemed quite off and I was practically alarmed on Sunday, June 25, 2023 before I went to work.

Whiteland ended up getting hit by a second significant (EF2) tornado in a matter of three months. They got hit by an EF3 on the night of March 31, 2023.

Three other tornadoes took place in which one of them caused a fatality in southern Martin county. There was also hail up to four inches in diameter in spots including Kirklin.
