THE #COCHINEAL | To give #color to #wool, #silk and other fibers, dyeing #plants of different origins have normally been used, but when it came to achieving the range of red #colors in all its variants, the #dye to use came from the animal kingdom: the #cochineal. In 1998, on the Canary Island of #Fuerteventura, Concha continued to cultivate #cochineal in the prickly pears to later sell it dry. #Documentary film
