You may remember that iconic clip of Johan Franzen ripping the mouthguard out of Patrick Kane's mouth and throwing it to the ice. That was ironically in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final back in 2009. So, last night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Panthers and Rangers, it was only fitting that we got another example of this! During a scrum, Chris Kreider yanked Matthew Tkachuk's mouthguard from him and then tried to throw it over the glass! This was one of the funniest moments of the 2024 NHL Playoffs undoubtably. Now as for the game, it was the 3rd straight that went to overtime. Once again, the Florida Panthers outplayed the New York Rangers for the majority of the game and yet again, Igor Shesterkin played out of his mind with some fantastic saves! Interestingly, Bobrovsky also now has more points in this series than Chris Kreider... I cover all that and more in todays NHL hockey video!
