PRIMARY BENEFICIARY CLARIFICATION:
There is important information to know about having a single primary beneficiary vs. multiple primary beneficiaries. If you have multiple primary beneficiaries, the monthly lifetime benefit is not a available. It would be typical for someone married with children to put the spouse as the primary and children as contingent beneficiaries. This preserves the monthly lifetime benefit option.
