On Saturday October 21st I drove over Matlock-way and prepped for a first time event for me, two races in one day: the Matlock "double header". Well known for the quality of organisation and how brilliant the location/event atmosphere is, I was really looking forward to it despite my plans not quite coming together perfectly.

In this video expect lots of waffle, but also two amazing climbs, fantastic race vibes, beautiful weather and scenery (poorly captured) and an uncharacteristically happy Nick.

Final event before Nationals, bring on The Struggle.
