সমান্তর ধারা (Arithmetic Progression বা AP) হলো একটি গাণিতিক ধারা যেখানে ধারার প্রতিটি পদ তার আগের পদের সাথে নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যার যোগফল দ্বারা পাওয়া যায়। এই নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যাকে "সাধারণ পার্থক্য" (common difference) বলা হয়।

সমান্তর ধারার সাধারণ রূপ:
𝑎,𝑎+𝑑,𝑎+2𝑑,𝑎+3𝑑,…
a,a+d,a+2d,a+3d,… এখানে
a হল প্রথম পদ
d হল সাধারণ পার্থক্য।
