This custom house plan was commissioned by a viewer on this platform from the US. The couple had specific requirements including a wide corridor, a large closed concept plan with 3-foot walkways around the island to accommodate wheelchair access, an ADA-compliant bathroom, and a basement. Additionally, they requested a Sunroom/All-season room, a reasonably large garage offset towards the rear, a wrap-around large porch, and a main bath with a walk-in shower. They wanted the house to have a Ranch/Craftsman style with craftsman columns and a gable over the front porch entry, along with a master bath featuring a zero-entry shower (ADA) and a makeup area, as well as a powder room and an entry closet.

The couple also desired the master closet and laundry to be interconnected, with the laundry having an exterior wall for a dryer vent. We successfully fulfilled all of their requirements.
