"Strana Rodnaya Indoneziya", or "Pesnya Ostrova Palm". is an Indonesian folk song telling the story of people living in coastal areas. This song is the Russian version of the song Rayuan Pulau Kelapa.

One of most famous song creation of Ismail Marzuki is "Consolation of the island of palm trees" (Ind. Rayuan Pulau Kelapa) (1944).

The song "Consolation of the Island of Palm Trees" (in V. Geviksman's arrangement, Russian text by V. Korchagin) called "Washed by the Warm Seas" or "Native Country Indonesia" was very popular in the Soviet Union performed by Maya Golovnya and was included in many songwriters of that time around 1950s to 1960s. The song also became the driving force behind the story of Andrei Evplanov's story "Indonesia". The leitmotif of the song "Indonesia - my love" was used by Yuliy Kim in his song "For the anniversary of D. A. Sukharev."

It all started when the President of the Republic of Indonesia Sukarno and the leader of the Soviet Union Nikita Khrushchev became best friends in the '50s. Because of the friendship between the two leaders, the Soviet government then asked the Center for Documentary Film Studio (TsSDF) to make a documentary about Indonesia. The song chosen to be the theme song for this documentary released in 1957 is “Rayuan Pulau Kelapa” by the legendary Indonesian composer Ismail Marzuki (1914 - 1958).

The song, which was created just a year before the independence of the Indonesian nation, was translated into Russian by Vladimir Korchagin who was an editor at the TsSDF and arranged by the composer of the Soviet Union, Vitaly Geviksman.

The song "Pesnya Ostrova Palm" was popularized by Maya Golovnya, a famous singer of the Soviet Union and Russia who in July turned 90 years old. The Russian version of "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa" in no way changes the original lyrics of this song which tells the story of Indonesia's natural beauty, such as flora, islands and beaches.

"Strana Rodnaya Indoneziya", atau "Pesnya Ostrova Palm". adalah lagu rakyat Indonesia bercerita orang yang tinggal di daerah pantai. Lagu ini merupakan Versi Bahasa Rusia dari lagu Rayuan Pulau Kelapa.

Salah satu lagu ciptaan Ismail Marzuki yang paling terkenal adalah "Penghiburan Pulau Palem" (Ind. Rayuan Pulau Kelapa) (1944).

Lagu "Penghiburan Pulau Palm Trees" (dalam aransemen V. Geviksman, teks Rusia oleh V. Korchagin) berjudul "Washed by the Warm Seas" atau "Native Country Indonesia" sangat populer di Uni Soviet yang dibawakan oleh Maya Golovnya dan termasuk dalam banyak penulis lagu pada masa itu sekitar 1950-an hingga 1960-an. Lagu tersebut juga menjadi penggerak di balik kisah "Indonesia" dalam kisah Andrei Evplanov. Motif utama lagu "Indonesia - my love" digunakan Yuliy Kim dalam lagunya "Untuk HUT D. A. Sukharev".

Semuanya bermula ketika Presiden Republik Indonesia Soekarno dan pemimpin Uni Soviet Nikita Khrushchev menjadi sahabat di tahun 50-an. Karena persahabatan kedua pemimpin tersebut, pemerintah Soviet kemudian meminta Center for Documentary Film Studio (TsSDF) membuat film dokumenter tentang Indonesia. Lagu yang dipilih menjadi theme song dokumenter yang dirilis pada tahun 1957 ini adalah “Rayuan Pulau Kelapa” oleh komposer legendaris Indonesia Ismail Marzuki (1914 - 1958).

Lagu yang diciptakan hanya setahun sebelum kemerdekaan bangsa Indonesia ini diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Rusia oleh Vladimir Korchagin yang merupakan editor di TsSDF dan diaransemen oleh komposer Uni Soviet, Vitaly Geviksman.

Lagu "Pesnya Ostrova Palm" dipopulerkan oleh Maya Golovnya, penyanyi terkenal dari Uni Soviet dan Rusia yang pada bulan Juli menginjak usia 90 tahun. "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa" versi Rusia sama sekali tidak mengubah lirik asli lagu ini yang bercerita tentang keindahan alam Indonesia, seperti flora, pulau, dan pantai.
