Saptashrungi is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site located near Vani in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Saptashrungi Nivasini, a form of the Hindu goddess Durga.

Location: The temple is situated on a hill and surrounded by seven peaks, which is why it is named "Saptashrungi" (Sapt means seven, and Shrungi means peaks).

Deity: The main deity of the temple is the goddess Saptashrungi, who is believed to be one of the manifestations of Goddess Durga. The idol of the goddess is carved in a rock and is about 8 feet tall with 18 arms, each holding different weapons.

Pilgrimage and Trek: The temple is a significant pilgrimage site, especially for devotees of the goddess Durga. It requires a climb of around 510 steps to reach the temple, although there is also a motorable road and a ropeway for easier access.

Festivals: Navratri is one of the major festivals celebrated with great enthusiasm at Saptashrungi Gad. During this period, thousands of devotees visit the temple to seek the blessings of the goddess.

Mythological Significance: According to Hindu mythology, Saptashrungi is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas where parts of the goddess Sati's body fell. It is believed that Sati's right arm fell here.

Scenic Views: The temple is located amidst picturesque surroundings, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it not just a religious site but also a place of natural beauty.
