For years, Ulrich Döpper, a collector of historical vehicles, has been involved in the restoration of half-track vehicles from the time of the Wehrmacht, starting with the Kettengrad and ending with the sWS, the heavy Wehrmacht tractor.

Only five sWS still exist worldwide, three of which are roadworthy again. These three were acquired by Döpper and have already been or are currently being restored.
In this documentation, the collector uses the example of the sWS to show how half-track vehicles are steered and how brakes are applied.

In never before shown detail Klaus, Wolle and Uli describe the function of over 70 years old vehicle technology. Numerous parts had to be rebuilt or overhauled in order to be able to operate the vehicle again.
