Celebrating the return of the ultimate road trip after a pandemic-induced hiatus, Mercedes Nodarse’s new single was written and is dedicated to all of the MINI Cooper enthusiasts that take to the road every other year for their bi-annual cross-country event, MINI Takes The States!

“This song was really such a joy to write and work on. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderfully good hearted people in the MINI community through my producer, Pedro Tomas, and I’ve been blown away by this community. Getting to team up with Luis Perocarpi and the LAP Motorsports team at Sebring, and then joining Barry Patascher and the Appalachian MINI Club for a special night of Music and fun in Asheville during MTTS 2022 and partaking in all of these experiences were the inspiration for “It’s Been a Long Time” and I hope that when people listen to this song, they feel the energy and fun we tried to share through our music of a road trip with friends and the excitement of getting back to something we all missed dearly during these last few years. Hope y’all enjoy it as much as we did making this song!”
