I used Prismacolor premier colored pencils and the Crystal Lady image from my new coloring book Enigma.

The greyscale images in this book are showing you where to put darker tones and help you to create a more realistic look with your colored pencils. I always start with the darkest tones and put them on the darkest grey areas of the image. Then I usually continue with mid-tones (to be put on mid-grey areas of the image) and finish with the lightest tones on the white areas. Sometimes I use white to create highlights and a white gel pen (Uniball) for the shine effect.
