Bach’s Sonata No. 4 was originally composed for flute and piano around 1731. Marcel Mule, a renowned French saxophonist, arranged it for alto saxophone and piano. This work is known for the simplicity in its melody and abundance of sixteenth notes. The work also gives the performer the freedom to add their own interpretation of the music through dynamics and articulations.
