Stopping overnight at La Citadellle Campsite in the town we explored Loches on foot the next day.
This very picturesque town is dominated by the Chateau de Loches which is the castle of the Anjou family. The castle comprises the Logis Royale (which you can see here    • Royal Apartments (Logis Royal). Loche...  ), the church of St. Ours and the Donjon. The Logis Royale is the place that Joan of Arc met the King after her success at Orleans.
