My apologies on the color temperature changes but the clouds kept covering the sun and this is a quick build anyway. I used a chainsaw to hollow out the log but you could use a number of drill bits to do the same or cut the outside away, remove the center and glue the outside back together. I was cutting some wood anyway so I went with that method. There is no right way to build this project so be as creative as possible.
