اقوام ایرانی‌تبار یا مردمان ایرانی گروهی قومی از تبار اقوام ایرانی‌زبان باستان هستند که به یکی از زبانهای ایرانی گویش می‌کنند. این گروه قومی در سراسر فلات ایران، از هندوکش تا آناتولی مرکزی و از آسیای میانه تا دریای پارس، منطقه‌ای که ایران بزرگ یا ایران‌زمین نامیده می‌شود،پراکنده شده‌اند.

The Iranian people are a collection of ethnic groups defined by their usage of Iranian languages and discernible descent from ancient Iranian people. The Iranian people live chiefly in the Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and parts of the Indian subcontinent, though speakers of Iranian languages were once found throughout Eurasia, from the Balkans to western China. As Iranian people are not confined to the borders of the current state of Iran, the term of Iranic people is sometimes used as an alternative in order to avoid confusion with the citizens of modern Iran.
