In this video (Episode 11) we will be looking at how I created this master study painting of one of the most revolutionary pieces of art ever created titled "The Death of Marat" after Jacques-Louis David (c.1793). David is one of my favorite artists of all-time so I decided to take this iconic painting on with acrylic paint.

Often I see other artists sharing tutorials on achieving Realism with oils, but virtually none with Acrylics. I decided to start "The Painting Process" series as a way to share my techniques and provide the uniquely crafted approaches that I utilize for my own paintings. As I will show in this series it is possible to achieve a hi-level Realism without the use of oils, solvents, and 6 months to a year drying time...
