Welcome back to "Talking TV." I'm shuvo, bringing you the latest updates from the world of sports. Today, we have an intriguing story involving Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve and her reaction to questions about Caitlin Clark's Olympic snub.

The buzz around Caitlin Clark's omission from the USA Basketball women’s Olympic roster has been a hot topic in the sports world for weeks. Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, who also coaches the national team, has faced criticism for the decision to leave the Indiana Fever rookie off the roster despite her impressive early performances in the WNBA.

Before the Lynx faced off against the Fever, ESPN’s Myron Medcalf approached Reeve to ask about Clark's potential inclusion in future national teams. Reeve, visibly unimpressed by the question, responded sharply.

"Why the hell would I answer a national team question?" Reeve retorted. "I'm wearing Lynx. And I'm the head coach of the national team, but I'm not the chair of the committee. Anybody want to venture into anything else?"

Reeve also dismissed the idea of a pro-Fever crowd at Target Center, downplaying the impact of Clark’s popularity on the game’s atmosphere. When asked about the possibility of a crowd favoring the Fever, Reeve bluntly replied, "I don’t give two s--ts. I don’t give one s--t."

Despite the controversy, the Lynx entered the game with a strong 16-7 record, sitting in third place in the WNBA standings. Meanwhile, the Fever, coming off a win against the Phoenix Mercury, improved to 10-14 and were in seventh place entering Sunday's matchup.

It's clear that Cheryl Reeve is focused on her duties with the Lynx and not interested in engaging in discussions about the national team selection. We'll see how this story develops as the WNBA season progresses. Stay tuned to "Talking TV" for more updates. I'm shuvo, and we'll see you next time.
