This is my favorite song from FF VII Rebirth. This is ‪@MusicLah‬ ‘s arrangement, also my favorite arrangement among all different solo arrangements that I listened to. I loved the chords, the arpeggios, the key change.

Thanks to ‪@niko-piano‬ for adding graphic for the video. It’s so perfect! Almost too perfect for my imperfect playing 😅

I am still struggling to learn Beethoven’s Waldstein sonata first movement currently. This song’s level of difficulty in a way reminded me of Waldstein. Maybe it’s the constant key change in the composer’s style and the big chords. Sometimes these chords are almost too big for my small hands.

Took me about a month to learn this. I didn’t believe I was able to play it in the end….

This song kept me going through some recent struggles with friendship with Tree. He was the one that mentioned the song to me. But I don’t feel like sharing any videos with him now. Haven’t texted for a few days after I tried to ask him, “how come never shared any pictures of scenary with me when he traveled to Japan in January?” - because he used to share so much with me. He told me “some people like to share, some don’t, not sharing photos don’t mean much. plus, I think I did share with you.” This message made me decide to not reply back, at least for now.

I really do appreciate all of the friends around me, both in person and online. Friend from game that takes me around to do quests and waits for me because I’m clueless, friend helping me add beautiful video graphic for this song, friends that I practice four hands piano songs together in person, friends that made so many plans to celebrate birthday with me this week, and Nora, I will see you soon!

Since I don’t play FF at all - for no reason other than I’m not good with computer, tech stuff, and i spend too much free time to practice piano - so my connection with the song doesn’t relate to the game. It’s simply a personal connection. I feel it sums up my recent struggles and appreciations altogether. Truly hope there will be less struggles, and there will be more happiness, more music, better friendships.
