Rzeszów, the capital of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, is currently inhabited by almost 198,000 people. It is the 15th city in Poland in terms of population.

A bit of history:

Rzeszów was founded as a private noble town and obtained city rights in 1354. The name comes from the Slavic names Rzesz and Rzech. The most dynamic development of this town took place at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, when Mikołaj Spytek Ligęza, the owner of the town, built a castle, a town hall, the Bernardine Abbey and the Old Town Synagogue. Before the war, people of Jewish origin constituted as much as 41% of the total population of Rzeszów. The city was even called Moses'.

The capital of Podkarpacie has a market square, a nice promenade, a castle, but also many other attractions that you will see in my film.
