We took a trip to La Jolla, a small beach community in San Diego. There, we visited 3 La Jolla Beaches: Point Mencinger, La Jolla Shores Beach, and La Jolla Cove.
We started the day by visiting Point Mencinger. It's a cape where a seawall was built to create a protected cove for children to play. There's a walking path on top that has great views.
Then we went to La Jolla Shores Beach. It's a large beach with lots of sand and mild waves.
To end the day, we headed to La Jolla Cove, a small beach area with beautiful cliffs and rock formations. It's small and can get crowded. High tide and low tide can significantly affect how much beach area there is. Lots of people go here for snorkeling.
La Jolla has a variety of different beaches and ocean cliffs that always make visiting a new and fun experience for our whole family.
