Finchley College provides two distinct pathways to achieve the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying and qualify for a Gold CSCS card: the Beginners to Advanced Course and the Beginners to Enhanced Course.

The Beginners to Advanced Course offers flexibility, allowing completion over 8 Saturday sessions for those balancing work commitments during the week. Alternatively, a more intensive approach can be taken with two blocks of 5 consecutive weekdays. This comprehensive training covers Total Station training in setting out and surveying, along with instruction in levelling, traversing, GPS, and coursework assistance to successfully finish the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying. Graduates are then eligible to apply for a Gold Engineer Surveyor CSCS card.

The Beginners to Enhanced Course is more in-depth, spans three to six months, featuring sessions on both Saturdays and Sundays, with optional free tutorials on weekdays. Similar to the Beginners to Advanced Course, it includes in-depth total station and setting out training, levelling, traversing, GPS and covers various topics specific to the Level 3 Diploma. Exclusive Sunday classes for Enhanced learners delve into site engineering topics, such as quality assurance, site drawings, concreting, reinforcement drawings, bending schedules, road works, steel, and RC frames. Participants also gain proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, the ProQual Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations, and a Level 3 Introduction to Building Information Modelling. Designed to shape beginners into competent site engineers ready for fieldwork, the Beginners to Enhanced Course offers a comprehensive skill set.

For individuals solely interested in total station and setting out training without pursuing the ProQual Level 3 Diploma and Gold CSCS card qualification, Finchley College also provides standalone training options.
