#1. Invite her to go for lunch with you. if you're nervous, bring a few other coworkers too.

#2. If you're asking her out as a date, make sure to only ask once and accept her answer.

#3. In addition to that, keep it casual at first. stick with a simple and safe coffee date or dinner at a restaurant are good ways to be safe and show her that she can have a date with you in a public place in case she has any concerns.

#4. Invite other coworkers along, even if it's an evening thing! This can reduce the pressure off both of you.

#5. Notice things about her and compliment her on them, for example, if you recognize the scarf she wears is from a school you know, point it out and compliment it.

#6. If the two of you are going the same way for a meeting, walk with her.

#7. However, if you are both going into the same meeting and you'll be there before her, save her a seat. she'll feel valued and you'll get to sit next to her throughout the entire meeting.

#8. When there are out-of-office outings, make a point of ensuring that she was invited and feels welcome.

#9. Keep physical distance in the workplace. The environment is different than when you're out at a bar, and it's important to convey all of your interest through body language and words instead of touch and proximity.

#10. And lastly, if she's a coffee drinker, bring her coffee. This also opens the door to a potential coffee date down the road.
