In this video I demonstrate how to tell a professional VNA instrument to interpret a 1-port calibration the same way as the NanoVNA V2 does at its front panel. Most VNAs have factory specified calibration kits that have their non-idealities accounted for. The NanoVNA does not do this, so you have to tell a real VNA to disregard these non-idealities if you want the measurements to be the same. This is useful for making measurements with both devices that agree with a common calibration standard and the true accuracy of the measurements is less important than agreement between instruments.
