Radial cut or radial sawn(usually called #quartersawn) is the most stable and stiff wood for making musical instruments , i.e. annual rings be perpendicular to the boards face.
But such a woods are rare!
If a wood was not such a rift sawn(radial cutted), we should to cut it on radial paths and do correction cuts to make it true sawn wood.
After correction, ray flake s or medullary ray s will be visible, Evidences of correct cutted tone wood.
