This video is going to teach us how to re-upholster the headliner of a van using an artisan method that consists in just pasting the glue all over the board and while still 'wet' the 'foam backed headliner material' is stuck onto the board.
As said in the video, this method could be used 'just in case' we do not have the required equipment (air compressor, paint gun and the special very fluid solvent-based glue).
As a matter of fact, the 'correct way' to do this procedure is by applying the glue all over both surfaces board and foam material letting them dry for a few minutes before sticking them together...a paint gun sprays the glue very soft to get an even coat...in a next tutorial I will show this procedure which is faster and easier.
Sprayers could be useful, but some of them leave too many bubbles and we cannot get a uniform glueing.
