Es war einmal.. Once upon a time.. Deep in the forest of Vogelsang, just North of the German Capital, there lays a massive abandoned Soviet military barracks complex, with top secret nuclear missile storage facility and launching site. The secret Russian Camp was abandoned in 1994, and has remained lost to the German forest and completely forgotten about.

A Massive Thank You to Wiley Monroe from 'Soundscape Journeys' for composing the fantastic music for this video! Please show Wiley and his YouTube channel some love!!

Music Title: Berlin Frames 2
An 'Off the Rails' Production

Construction at this 5,800-hectare site began in 1951 by the Russians, with the garrison of 550 buildings becoming home to around 15,000 soldiers and civilians, along with load of tanks, anti-aircraft missiles, tactical missiles and nuclear missiles.

Even though the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, the Soviets did not leave this place until 1994!
