When attempting to play quicker fills or grooves but they end up sounding a little clunky – it usually means that one hand is lagging behind the other, preventing you from performing the pattern evenly and consistently. Your dominant hand will most likely always be a little quicker and more controlled than your weaker hand, however these exercises were designed to close that gap as much as possible.

In this video, I demonstrate these exercises using his left hand, however these work just as well for your right. Do these for 10 days straight and you’ll notice massive improvements!
