Umak Ruma is a traditional musical dance of the Murut ethnic group in Brunei Darussalam. Originally, the song is used for the ceremonial housewarming or a house party in the Murut community where usually it signifies the event of particularly moving into new homes that is often accompanied by dancing, traditional games and more feasting activities. However, the R.O.D’s version has taken this song one step above the rest as the 'Sape' itself being the host, alongside with modern instruments such as the violin, keyboard and bass to make this Murut traditional song more eventful than ever.

Rhythm of Darussalam (ROD) is an independant traditional music group that gathers the young generation of Brunei Darussalam who are very keen to explore and improve their skills and knowledge, more importantly in Brunei Traditional Music i.e. local ethnic and culture of music and local instruments. All of them came from different backgrounds and ethnic groups of Brunei - for some may have formal education in music whilst others may inherit the legacy from their parents and elders. Altogether, they have learned and are still learning to experiment and further hone their skills in both traditional and modern variety of music by producing all new refreshing compositions to be heard not just inside the country, but also to the worldwide nation which is also part of promoting the importance of Brunei's cultural identity and sheer awareness of conserving old traditions and simultaneously creating a traversable interface to our new generation of all walks of life that those past traditions are still being preserved well.
