Imported animals often harbour parasites, my Boelen's pair are imported from Indonesia and were treated externally for mites on arrival into the UK and through quarantine I kept them relatively simply to keep an eye on things - especially their poo!

Both have no symptoms of pinworm or other parasites; both gaining weight and feeding well, eating on point. I did get a regurgitation from both at one point though and a friend who also has Boelens from the same import told me his was positive for Pinworm so had treated with Panacur - the go to for worming treatment. Following the regurgitation and this news I decided to get a faecal test carried out, this video explains the simple process to get that completed.
