Horror fans who are familiar with Guillermo del Toro’s work know what a delightful opportunity it was when he got together with Chuck Hogan to bring about their unique take on vampire mythology. With each passing season, we were introduced to some new kind of scary stuff, and the narrative evoked as much fear of diseases as it did of vampires. This vampire horror TV series was based on a novel trilogy by the same name, and the first season with thirteen episodes was enough of an incentive for the fans to get hooked on to the concept.
There have been four successful seasons so far, and the story started off with a rather innovative premise. Dr. Ephraim Goodweather investigates the strange incident, where a plane landed with everyone dead on board. They soon find out that a deadly viral outbreak is behind the mishap, and it has links to an ancient strain of vampirism. Once the virus begins to spread uncontrollably, Dr. Goodweather and his men have their tasks cut out for them. To save humanity! There have been some terrifying creatures that we saw throughout the series, and in this video, we will take a quick look at some of the most horrifying ones.
