My name is “Wingit” and I am attempting an Appalachian Trail 2024 Thru Hike - without much of a plan, in fact, I am Winging it along the way. Here is another day I am grateful to share with everyone.

Great day hiking through historical Maryland including Gath’s Tomb and the Original Washington Monument Finished the hike at Annapolis Rocks for an amazing sunset with fellow hikers and friends.

Many are hiking with minimal food & substandard gear, infrequent opportunities to get out of inclement weather, do laundry, or acquire a bunk at a local hostile. Many survive by donated gear from hiker boxes to experience the magic of the Appalachian Trail.
