Matthew Dickson was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his early 20s while attending college. He had previously biked across Canada, aspired to travel the world, and was going into his last semester of an engineering degree. He discusses the difficulties of accepting the diagnoses and the overwhelming symptoms, but through treatment and self help has seen weekly improvements for the last 20 years. Matthew is now mental health advocate and has his own website promoting mental health care in developing countries. As well as a fitness and nutrition website to make healthy living easier.
