The Airside App is compatible with Android devices version 8.0 (API level 26) or later.
For best use of the app, use on your Android smartphone.
Mobile devices must be NFC capable, which can be determined in the device's Settings feature.
Enable the NFC tag reader for Android devices To enable the tag reader:Android: Open Settings, tap Connections, and turn on NFC and contactless payments.
Also check Settings to allow the app access to the camera.
Make sure your passport has not expired.
Only e-passports may be enrolled on the app.
Remove any covers or holders from your passport and phone.
Please ensure your mobile device has sufficient battery life to add your passport.
Some chips may be damaged, making them unreadable.
If your passport enrollment is unsuccessful, retake your selfie and repeat the MRZ scan before proceeding to the NFC chip read.
