Sony's newest crop sensor camera this year is the fx30 instead of a new a6000 series camera. Even though the fx30 is geared towards video it does still take photos. But is it any good? Lets talk about it! I picked this camera up to replace my a6400 as a daily camera that can do both well and this camera definitely can. The Sony fx30 takes great photos as well as great video and unless you're a sports photographer I can definitely see this being a viable option as a hybrid. Would I recommend getting this camera for its photo capabilities? Absolutely not. However, if you do end up with it rest assure that you will have a more than capable photo camera alongside your video camera!
