#Comingupforair // The SAPP team consists of diasporic Chinese reconnecting with where our grandfather came from. As avid consumers of the romance of three kingdom narratives and history, this video provides context to the Shu Kingdom. From this vista, it's clear Liu Bei had an endless supply of Swiss-quality clean water and a terrain that was gave him the upper hand for defense. But, he blew it. His advisor Pang Tong made the ultimate sacrifice to secure Sichuan and Chongqing to help Liu Bei secure a hinterland for the Shu Kingdom. This video provides aerial vistas of this territory.

The rocky and jagged Jiuzhaigou valley, literally valley of the 9 fortified villages (九寨沟风景名胜区) in Sichuan Province's northern region covers 72,000 ha and rises to a height of more than 4,800m. This National Park is home to a number of different forest ecosystems and is part of the Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, China.

Its magnificent sceneries are best appreciated from above, and from this vista they are especially fascinating because of the numerous conic karst landforms and its epic 300m+ wide-spanning waterfalls. Jiuzhai Valley is a part of the MinShan mountain range and is located on the border of the eastern Tibetan Himalayan Pletau. This part of the world takes its name from the nine fortified Tibetan settlements along its length.

This video took three days to film as weather conditions there can be sketchy.
