In this video I aim to illustrate that losses cost you more then gains and that numbers can easily be misrepresented to make things look better then they really are. Numbers don't lie, but we can misrepresent them or use them as tools of persuasion.

Incidentally, I made an arithmetic error, one that does not hurt the story or the point I am making, but still goes to show how easily it is to make an error and not see it right away. I was left wondering if I should reshoot this whole video, but decided that maybe it makes another point. Even when we look really hard, we still can miss things. Even data that is intended for clarity can be wrong.
