Pythagoreio is a #picturesque #town of 7500 residents, located on the island of Samos, in Greece, at the eastern part of the #Aegean sea and very close to the #Turkish coasts. The town was renamed in 1955 to honour the locally born #mathematician and #philosopher #Pythagoras.
