Since the demise of the legendary Kenyan musician, Ayub Ogada, the Alliance Française has been partnering with nyatiti musicians and friends of the late musician , to pay tribute to one of the greatest Kenyan artists. This year’s concert included Judith Bwire, Gabriel Wuod Akonya and the youngest Nyatiti player Kent Mugenda Ja Siaya, Olith Ratego and Makadem. An eclectic fusion of Nyatiti strings and voices to contemporary music that had the audiences on their feet.
